I also did notice that the bat sound is different than the one from 2k8, it sounds much more realistic

Presentation and commentary are superb and signature styles are almost life like (even their walk ups).

Even though there are plenty of things to nitpick about as with any video game, the most important thing about this game its that its fun and is smooth as butter.
The 09 show board is up top cuz your obiously playing the wrong game

Clouds look good moving, like they are going 90MPH, yet the flags are not blowing, lol.

And I cant get over some of these jerky animations ... especially when three guys are involved in a play, they are have that stop hard suicide run lunge.

There no difficulty settings. I feel the controls are good. The gameplay seems fun to me. The only thing is that the graphics are ok not great. If this game would have better graphics it would be great. Some animations could be better as well. Some of the signature batting stance are off as well, but im enjoying the gameplay. The players feel like they have weight to them which is realistic.

What do you mean? You don't agree that the gameplay is smooth? Or that the presentation is improved? Or that pitching isn't as hard as last year? I don't get what your trying to say

Thats what I am saying.

The framerate chugs out of play. On walk-ups to cut-a-ways to replays.

Where do you see the CPU taking strikes. I have yet. I had to strike Upton out on three straight fastballs, swinging. All they do is swing.

I did notice a different bat sound, one when it seemed it was at the end of the bat, but still not good at all. Too much of a cracked bamboo sound.

Yes hitting and pitching is smoother. And the announcing seemingly is better. Anything is better than what it had. But the gameplay, still feels a chore with the jerky movement, and the animations just dont fit most of the plays.

Well, the bright side for those not feeling the demo (or even for those who are) is I don't think it can be close to full quality considering I just went to download it (finally showed up) and it's already at 83%.

Demo downloads never go this fast...especially at release, so it might be a really "light" demo, so to speak.
