Yes I saw that, but at the same time, in the demo I noticed several times where slides would mess up the 2B and throw off a double play.

about the take out slides. No idea yet, i kind of suck. Its hard to play alot of innings because i am answering questions on 2 forums.

about the pickle play, not sure, i know i tried to run when i wasnt supposed to and the guy ran after loney and tagged him out. I dont know the base running controls yet. I should have read the manual. lol
kcxiv, thanks for the info on the pickle play. Knowing that a guy ran after him, is encouraging news b/c in the demo the basemen would stand there and let you go back and forth without making any tag

The one thing I'm dying to know, is how is online play this year. If the servers are up I'd love it if you would play at least a couple of innings and let us know if it plays as smooth online as it does offline.

It'd be cool to read impressions about the PC version, but I guess you guys don't get those copies early ?

Last year's game was an embarrasment in regards to the relationships and correlations between an actual fielder's ratings such as Range, Glove, Fielding, etc and their respective results on the field and animations that were triggered.

After playing this year's game, can you tell me if you notice more subtle relationships between a fielder's range, glove, all around abilities and how they perform and the animations that get triggered in the field?

I hoping there is more of a tie in between these variables and the results that unfold in their respective positions

Can you confirm if that is a pre-final build video, or the final build of the game video?

I remember earlier videos, before people like Chase, TJ, and KC started getting the games, having players running through each other but there were still framerate issues and the game wasn't optimized.

I want to know from someone who has the final copy if they are still seeing the same thing...
