I rented the game and I have not experienced the 1st basemen off the bag glitch. At least not yet

I have very mixed emotions about this game. It's a fun game and I love the pitching and batting interfaces. But, my god, who tested this game? It has some really glaring problems, which are well documented - so I won't rehash them. There are also lots of smaller more annoying things (no pitch tracker, replays only work if you start them before the play ends, collision detection, weird/missing animations, no stats/ratings from the pre-game lineup screen, freezing, etc.)

It feels so close to being a great game...yet so far. I'd say they are on the right track, but after 4 straight years of poorly tested, broken 2k baseball games, I'm not that optimistic for next year either. Exclusive licenses suck...

Ain't it the truth.

If the Show was also made for the 360, there would be no reason for 2k to even bother developing a baseball game. Amazing how a company that makes such great basketball games, once did the same for football, and puts out a halfway decent hockey game, can fall flat on its face when it comes to baseball. I would suggest to them that they secretly pay some of the Show developers for their secrets to making a great baseball game.

I wonder the same thing. I remember back in the day developers struggled to release decent basketball games, and it were the baseball games that reigned supreme. Nowadays it's the other way around.

just rented it and sad to say it's not a good game at all and I'm a huge 2K fan.. way too many glitches.

Just bought the game and its going back for a trade in.AWFUL, BUGGY and Unplayable. I went to my freinds house who has a PS3 and MLB The Show and I must say The Show is a Killer App. I will be trading in my Xbox plus this 2k garbage I bought just for a PS3 and the Show. See u guys on the other side!
