Yeah ever since I've started using the right stick for throwing I've not experienced it. Previously It would happen a few times a game. Now I've not seen it in like 7 or 8 games.

At the end of my first day with the game I'd have rated it as a 6/10.

After a week with it, getting better at pitching and batting, finding a set of sliders to give me realistic stats and downloading the new patch, I'd give the game a 7.8/10. I've had my last two games go into extra innings and they have been a blast.

If the next patch fixes AI hitter aggression then this game will be a solid 8.5 at the least.

To those of you wondering if you should buy the game and reading reviews as gospel, stop it. Thinking a game is good because of a good review is like thinking a film is good because of an Oscar nomination. They're both just politics. Every reviewer is going to be biased in some way, therefore the only way to know whether you like a game is to play it for an extended period of time.

I'm also stunned by the amount of negative posts by people who haven't even played the game. I'd always thought OS was a little classier than to allow that, instead it results in these threads devolving into something hauntingly similar to the IGN forums.

A great post and oh so true. It's the same with every 2k game but with 2k baseball it's become a national holiday. Oh well, I'm am enjoying this game very much and for those that aren't there is another option. Expensive yes, but still an option.

I agree with you... I was out at some friends having dinner and was itching to get home to get a game in. I've played it a bunch this weekend and can't wait to get my franchise started.

I agree with you guys sort of. Its about a 5 out of the box imo. If you tweak it you can get it up around a 6 or 7. on legend is one way to do that. or with bigjoe's sliders. but even then it still has some glaring flaws and is not nearly as good as it should be. That equates toa pretty bad game. Witha patch it might be a 7.5 to an 8 but that is wishful thinking. Still I dont think this game can be excused or called good the way it is.

All of you guys should just go buy a PS3 and buy The Show. It's the best baseball game out there and even has surpassed MVP 05 and High Heat. It's that good. 2K's player graphics are GOD awful and I never understood why the developers didn't redo them.

These are the kind of posts that add nothing to the discussion and ruin impression threads.

I agree man. If i wanted someone to recommend how to spend my money i'd ask. Thing is this game could be pretty good, but i wish some people would work on getting this game tweaked right. if we can somehow get the pitch counts worked out this game could be good enough. I really hope they release a good patch for this game. It's just not balanced correctly and really b uggy.
