Well, it finally happened. I misplayed my first ball in the outfield due to the super-sensitive and twitch outfield controls. Grr.

I'm sure this has been said before, but is there any other camera's for fielding instead of the default one?

The 360 version was traded on Goozex for the first time this weekend. I'm now #4 in the queue (started at #14). I'm hoping I can hold out so I don't have to buy a new version of the game.

Re: ***Official MLB 2K9 Retail Version Impressions***

OK, this weekend I decided to pop in 2k9 for the PS3. I felt bad bc my wife bought me the game for my Bday and she was asking me how come I haven't even opened up the game yet. Ive been playing the Show non stop but decided to give the game a whirl. Well, i updated the game with the patch and the newest Rosters and decided to play an exhibition game with the Yanks in the New Yankees stadium. It was a night game and I must say that the game looked horrible. But i chugged along with it and tried my hardest to get through an entire game but couldn't make it past the 6th inning.

I will try again to see if it is something that I need to get used to.

The lighting during night games is a little off. It's a little too bright, and there are too little shadows. It creates the sense that outfield walls (especially behind home) are "glowing."

Day games look much, much better.

I did the same thing. First off I was glad that the PS3 framerate issue was addressed. Bad news is the franchise freezes and gameplay turned me sour on this edition. The game is ugly and just doesn't make me want to play it over and over again. If it was my only baseball option I would go back to my PC version of MVP.
