very concerned now...the fact that this needs a day one patch to fix a game-killing franchise bug and who knows what else normally indicates a title rushed out the door before it's ready

I'd like to hear some impressions about curser or zone hitting (whatever it's called) the one with the yellow bat and classic pitching. I'm curious as to how easy or hard it is to throw strikes with classic. Now when i talk classic is it true classic with no on screen icons or is it the old pitching from 2k7 (never bought 2k8), it had the expanding circle etc and was very easy to pinpoint your pitches.

If you do not have the game, aren't responding to, or asking a question to someone who has the game. Please don't post in here. Thanks.

Funny that some complain about the fade to black, fade from black, while others love it.

I personally love it. The presentation in this game is a long way ahead of anything I've seen in a sports game in that respect.

Not me, Im indifferent to it. I find it strange for a video game, but I don't love or hate the fade to black.

I don't find it strange on tv, and I prefer my sports games to be closer to tv than video games.

Re: ***Official MLB 2K9 Retail Version Impressions***

To me, the game is pretty darn fun. Its got some things that need a little fixing, but for me, its nothing really serious. At least that i can see. We have to really wait and see once 100k people are playing and see what happens.

For VC's first year doing it, imo they did a heck of a job. Its not perfect, but i think it has alot of promise.

I havent played today yet, i just got my SF4 arcade stick so messing with that for a bit. lol
