I'm glad you find it fun, and that's what I was hoping this game could provide. I'm definitely not writing it off just yet, because I plan on trying something out with this game, and if I can get over the stances and the game is fun I'll probably end up buying the game.

If anyone was curious about what I planned on doing, I want to sim about 20 or so years into franchise until there are no real players left. It brings a change of pace to baseball, and can add some fun. But, everyone would have the same stance, but like I said if I get over it then I'll probably play this game for a while.

Im afraid that is correct. Unless all of us have missed it somewhere hidden deep in the game somewhere. Let me try the Konami code to see if more stances come out.....up, up, down, down......LOL

but yeah, pretty lame that they didnt give us that option, especially for some of us here that really look for that option.

I am hoping Simballer will chime in on the batting stance issue. I mean you could choose a stance for a created player in ps1 games.

It may sound vain, but the not editing batting stances thing is a pretty big deal to me. I know a lot of us like to have accurate stances (look at all the batting stance threads from last year). This probably isn't a purchase for me until this is fixed (if it ever is). I'll save my $60 and play 2k8 again.

No doubt! The more I find out that things have been taken out of this game, the more I will enjoy keeping my money just in protest. Later

Oh jesus christ this means i have to look at that terrible Carlos Pena stance 7616189471 times...just lovely. What would possibly make VC take out the option to edit batting stances i dont get it

damn, no auto-fielding! I got used to it in the show. Now I just gave up 7 runs in 1 inning. Gotta get used to this
