If somehow we can get the AI to be more discipline @ the plate I'll give MLB 2K9 a 7.5. If we can't get the AI to be more discipline 2 the plate the game gets a 7...
Nice review Joe...very balanced

I kind of got that general impression from the demo, that the intentions were clear, but it was still "rough." I'm looking forward to renting it and messing around a bit (I'm desperate to find a solution to the AI aggressiveness...lol).

Also, I'm looking forward to seeing what they come up with for PC. Some mods might be the cure for some of what ails this game (maybe unlocks stances/deliveries?). We'll see.

anyway, thanks again. Good review!

trust me that is very close...it might not look it on the pic..but is way to close..

perfect for me is

6 zoom

7 height

and when batting there is a pitch zoom option which zooms in when the pitcher throws you the ball..

How far does it zoom? Personally I like to have it so only the very front of the plate is on the screen.

I tried different Slider changes for AI Hitting & I had no luck in getting the CPU to be less aggressive. Also noticed the AI has a hard time hitting breaking stuff.

Does the cpu having trouble against curve balls ruin the game? In the demo it seemed like more times than not I could either make cpu miss badly with curve ball or weakly hit ball. Does this look like a game killer or will cpu hit curve better at higher difficulty?

but yeah, pretty lame that they didnt give us that option, especially for some of us here that really look for that option.
- wait a minute...you can't edit your created players stances? hmmm....I think you are doing something wrong.
