Yeah, I was hoping for more zoom as well. You can go much farther in with 2K7. Has anyone tried turning on Pitch Zoom to see if that brings you closer in?

Re: ***Official MLB 2K9 Retail Version Impressions***

walk off win celebration is lame. Actually there is no celebration. I just won a game in 14 innings 2-1 dodgers vs the mets. I had bases loaded using the dodgers and singled in the game winning run with 2 outs and NO celebration or cut scene at all. Players just walked into the dugout. Lame.

I have noticed this also but it seems to happen more as the game goes on. Like in the beginning of the game it appears that you can strikeout the cpu batters more they chase more out of the zone and in the zone, but as the game goes on it seems they hit anything in or close to the zone, it could be tied into pitchers confidence. I am going to make some slider adjustments and see what happens

Can't you start a play now game for 2-players, use the 2nd controller to make roster adjustments to your opponent, then move it to the center and let the CPU play the game?

I got the game today and overall I am pleased with it. The gameplay for the most part is fun and realistic and the framerate issue is fixed (though not completely fixed but its a non issue)

There are just a lot of little things in this game that hold it back that 2K must brush up on

Ill probably right more detailed review if I get the chance.
