Yeah, you're probably right, but we don't know what all the patch is going to fix. I'd just like to know if the game as it is right now has improved in that aspect compared to the demo since the demo was an early build.

Just like everyone else has said. They do swing a little more then people would like. I dont know much about what sliders do though. lol

People with the full version talk about the hyperaggressiveness of the hitters, too. Again, hopefully the patch fixes that.

Have the manulal replay angles improved in 2K9, especially when viewing HR's? VC said they redid the graphics and I wondered if this changed the manual replay system at all.

Like when you're manually viewing a replay of a HR can you get an angle that follows the ball till it lands? Does it deflect off the background scenery over the fence or does it just dissappear into it?

In the Demo I hit one in the upper deck and the camera just lost the ball. In the retail game can I replay that HR manually and get an angle that follows the ball till it lands or hits something in the background scenery?

KCXIV,

Can you give us the skinny on take-out slides? Have you seen any, are baserunners running through position players?

Re: ***Official MLB 2K9 Retail Version Impressions***

kcxiv, first off thanks for answering our questions. My question is whether there is still the dreaded annoying missing frame when the pitcher releases the ball? If you dont know what im talking about, what i mean is does the ball change direction once it leaves the pitchers hand? This has been present in the last 2 2Ks and it really makes it annoying to pick up a pitch and I was seeing it again in this year's beta videos.

Thanks

kcxiv,

Man big props on having the game and answering our questions. Can you get into a pickle play and let us know how it turns out. I know in the demo, the two basemen pretty much let you walk from 1st to second. Do they run you down at least in the retail version?

Anything about take out slides or anything?
