Guru, can you shed some more light on the proposed patch to fix CPU batter aggressiveness. Has that been confirmed? Or have they just said it was a possibility? Any ideas how long it would take?

it was just stated that it will be filed for possible patch....the patch that is coming today is mostly for online improvements

they will never provide a date for the patch until they have more information as to what needs fixing...

but i am sure it will be patch...just dont know when....

Fatigue may be an issue.. Playing on all-star, Opening Day -- Nats/Marlins (lol - plenty of good seats available). Fish pound my starter for 6 runs, while I nick Nolasco for 2 in 4 innings (he gave up 6 hits). Yet, the start of the next inning, the AI sends Wes Helms up to pinch hit for him..

Will have to play some more - but that's one thing I noticed.

What do you think of the gameplay so far?

Plays pretty nice.. May need to adjust sliders a bit - seem to be getting hits (not a ton of HR's though) , but everything seems to be very smooth. Too bad the out of town boards don't work

At least they have fixed the wacky lineup issue they have had! The franchise news menus are a nice touch too..

My bad - I thought you could play all minors.. they have the schedules up for the lower tier teams (A, AA), but you can only sim those games. You can make roster moves to bring players up though

How watered down is the demo compared to the retail?
Does the progressive lighting and stadiums at least look to be on par with 2k7?

-- Hitting sliders may need to be adjusted slightly. In "another" first game between the Jays and Tigers, Doc vs Justin Verlander -- Detroit won 7-5. Both teams combined for 12 runs and 30 hits
Still played a fine game imo -- I injured Rios on a play when he ran into the wall on a HR.. nothing showed but a pop up screen saying he was hurt (Cabrera also got hurt in the game)..

-- Lighting looked cool. The game was an afternoon game - went from a sunny day to lights on in the early evening..
