Using Guru's sliders, just lost 5-0 to the Mets using the Padres. Mets had 9 hits, I had 4. Santana pitched a complete game DOMINATING me.

The gameplay is VERY good with the right sliders. Most people are using Total Control Hitting, I'm using Zone Classic and loving it with slower pitch speeds.

Everything that I have read says no you cant, but I havent set up on yet myself so I will test this. If you can only have a online league with just human users, that is an unfortunate downfall of this game.

Yeah, I doubt you can (but need confirmation, never know). I wanted to do something similar to NCAA Football 09's online dynasty. Just if I can do one season of baseball with a couple friends, that's good enough for me.

I am very happy to hear you guys are liking it. The game is not perfect but is fun and you will have a hard time putting the controller down. Am i right in saying the pitching in this game is next to none. Do u feel the weight of the ball when pitching. I hope some have tried my sliders. I will continue to mess with them and hope to play some of you later when I get home

Re: ***Official MLB 2K9 Retail Version Impressions***

I've had the game for a few days now and think its really fun. However, its just too buggy in the fielding and throwing for me to take it seriously or play it more than the show. Its really frustrating when your fielders get hit in the head by a flyball, or when u throw to 1st base only to have your 1st baseman nowhere near the base. Or when the CPU decides to stop while chasing down an easy fly ball thus giving u a cheap base hit. Or when u hit a ball in the gap and the ball somehow gets stuck in the wall and the CPU fielders just dance around the ball and let u get a cheap inside the park HR. Those are my major gripes. I'm not too picky about the player editing stuff.

Re: ***Official MLB 2K9 Retail Version Impressions***

Great, im supposed to pick this game in a couple of hours and i am worried about it from reading reviews. Though i havent had any real issues on the demo, i dont know how long before things get really annoying.

I already got a sense of the infielder speed problem and that having a hard time getting ground ball hits. It did not seem to bad, but overall it may get annoying seeing everything getting robbed. Ugh decisions decisions....i am going to get it cause i need a baseball fix, and honestly the other game does not do it for me.... fingers crossed.
