I was gonna post something similar. Its just all this stuff that keeps adding up. I mean its just a punch in the gut eveytime you hear about something else wrong. We can only take so many punches to gut before we turn and walk away.

I want to have FUN when playing. I don't care about sock color, how often the cpu bunts, etc. The Show will most definitely have issues as well, so the people expecting it to be perfect are going to be dissapointed. I actually prefer the presentation, batting and hitting in 2K9. Hitting and pitching feels old in the Show. Either way, there will be a game to please most of us this year.
I don't think too many people are saying this review swayed them. I think most who are commneting are being swayed by all the problems (or missing aspects that are problems for some) being reported by people with the game. I think it's certainly fair to say that some of the choices this game took will turn certain people off.

If you're excited for the game and want it...cool. I don't think anyone is trying to change your mind on that. There is likely going to be plenty of people who still love this game (as was the case last year, despite it's problems).

EDIT: Jeffy and pjv beat me to it

So that is a reason to not like this game? You have got to be kidding? Well you know you can rent it if you don't want to spend 60 dollars don't you and that can't be more than 5 bucks. I mean I'm not trying to bash but it's complaints like this that I just don't understand.............

Hey I understand but is there any game on the market that does all of this, and I'm not being sarcastic, I really want to know.

Its not a game killer at all. But when you add up all the other problems, I start to ask myself if its worth it or not.

Yes, it is a big deal to some. There are people who only play exhitition and do you think they really want to face the same pitcher every single time they play a team? Don't think so......

Yeah, pretty much every other baseball game. Not to be a jerk, but its true.

                  Yes, MLB 2K7.

If Kush could do all that 2 years ago, it's pretty ridiculous that VC can't do those things now.

Don't get me wrong, I really want to like this game, but with all this stuff popping up, it's getting harder and harder........

YEah, the best playing football game to date.

I agree that there needs to be a few things patched, but they ahve at ime they have to put the game out and it has to be out by then, going to a new developer, there was going to be a few issues. It happens with every sports game this gen.

What really sucks for gamers is that they cant take 2 years to work on the games, it has to be done in one year.

Well we all have different taste so that's cool. I guess I don't have the video game eye like a lot of you have. I barely notice things like that for some reason, but I can see how that would ruin the experience for some of you.

I didn't know that. I'm a pick up and play kind of person, I rarely touch sliders, create players etc., but for those of you that do, I can understand. Does the show do most of what you mention or any of it. People rave about that game a lot.

Interesting. Well hopefully they step up next year, as much as they sucks to say. Can any of those missing items be patched?

For those of you wondering what is behind the GREEN BARS here is a summarization...also this is the link where the picture came from (he also explains why he had to put green bars up)

"According to them, Online multiplayer is a mess. Fielding is all screwed up. No stop and sim feature. Playcalling was so repetitive they had to mute the tv, Its a Homerun fest, Way too many lineouts to infielders and almost no choppers or balls down the lines. Bunting is glitchy, almost every bunt resulted in the batter being called safe even when the throw clearly beat him to the bag. Also, for online, you cant turn off the pitch aiming cursor so the opponent can see where you are aiming."
