Can a patch that's released at some point in the future add things being able to edit batting stances and some of the features you want?

All we know is that 2K is aware of this problem. Hopefully, it will be made available in a second patch later this month.

I think it is possible. However I also think its unlikely. There will be a second patch, it will fix the over aggressive AI hitting. Amongst other things.
