    picking off CPU at 2nd

I find that I can easily pick off the CPU at second no matter what. The natural stance they take appears to be far enough off the base that they can never get back on time. This works with right handers and left handers.

I could just not attempt but then I have no way of holding them onto the base. This is my biggest pet peeve about the game. The sliders fixed a lot of other ones I was having.

Have you reduced the Pickoff Success slider?

On default settings, it's too easy to pick off baserunners on any base.

I'm using OS and BFJ's spring training sliders with user pickoff success set at 35. And picking off at 2nd base is still way too easy.

Re: picking off CPU at 2nd

I think there are two problems at play. One, pickoffs are overpowered. Reducing it to zero helps, but it's still more frequent (particularly a 2B) than it should be.

The other I think might be related to BR aggression. I can't recall, but is there a rating for this anymore? If so, it may need to be reduced. It seems that the better baserunners are actually easier to pick, because they take much bigger leads.

I tried this out (slider zero'd) in the last couple games I played. I tried picking off a really slow guy (cant remember who they were now but one had a really low rating of 5, I believe). I couldn't get him at first. I walked the batter to get him to second and I still couldn't get him after 5 tries.

Then I tried it with Soriano (75 BR, I think) and picked him off both at first (several attempts though) and 2nd (first try).

Hopefully this is something that can be helped through edits. Or it may be tied to IE, which could be another problem with the IE system.
