Blalock getting dealt is realistic, as well as Padilla. Last I heard about Young was that he intends to play in Texas as long as possible now that he accepted playing 3rd base.

But yeah, post the player ratings if you want, because right now it looks like the Rangers are giving up a lot, while the Giants are giving up nothing except Zito.

Young is an 88 i believe, and blalock is a 80
zito is a 78
dice-k is 88 lowell is 84 and anderson is a 75

and i think i might leave the giants out of the trade, maybe make a trade with them to nab zito

so that would make the trade look like

Red Sox get Michael Young SS/3B (88)

Rangers get Daisuke Matsuzaka (88) Mike Lowell (84) and maybe a decent prospect?

i trying to get a SS since lowrie stinks in the game
and whenever ive used zito ive pitched pretty well with him

but if i decide to try and trade dice-k for a pitcher who would you suggest?

Yeah, I was just wondering because with what you posted....the Giants are getting rid of Zito which is more or less a favor to them, and getting an 80 in Blalock, a mid-upper 70s in Padilla, and a mid-upper 60s in Gabbard.

That last trade seems like you'd be giving up way too much just for Young. If you made it Young/Padilla for Dice-K/Lowell that'd still be more than fair. You might try an exibition game with Padilla or something, because I pitch really well with him. Before he got hurt in my franchise he was 2-0 with a 0.56 ERA in like 21 innings or something.

It's up to you though in the end of course. I'm not sure if you're looking to make a realistic trade, or just one to help your team.

im looking for realistic. and i think ill try a game with padilla to see how he does. if i dont like him then maybe do the trade you said, then flip padilla and someone else for zito?
