Ok I am gonna be the liasion for this ordeal but I need yall to be on point with this so we can get what we all want. An awesome game of baseball where players look like themselves so here is the format I need:

***Thats all I need. PLease know all the stances that are available in mlb2k9. Refrencing 2k8 is a good idea but remmeber there are new ones in mlb2k9. Know the genereic stances as well. I will carry this thread daily to the 2k MOD who actually monitors this daily and I have a direct contact with him to add these in every roster update. PLease refrain from specific team uniform edits as to everyone is already blasting them with the info, this is what we need. OH! And if a rating change needs to be done like a new pitch or what not, add that to as well as a link for verification!

Yep there was a new roster update today or rather tonight and I think that was fixed...if not then it will be tommorrow. This is mostly for the stances/deliveries and ratings

This was a thread from 2K8, from last summer. Some pretty good stance edits in here. The teams for the players are from last year so there has been some player movement, but this is as good a place to start as any if there is interest/hope in trying to update generics for this year!

It's hard to get a good idea without being able to 'test out' a stance with a player in an edit mode, but from 2K8 I know that Justin Morneau's sig-stance is almost identical to Nate McLouth's real stance. Make it happen, Wookie!

I'll have to figure out what is the easiest way to view someone's stance so I can try to come up with corrections for the Pirates. I know Doumit, Andy LaRoche, Brandon Moss and McLouth (again, should be Morneau's) all have the generic 'medium' stance -- at least I think that's what it's called -- but have identifiable enough real-life stances that they could probably be matched up with sig-stances.

Todd Helton used to be great for Jack Wilson, but he's keeping his hands lower this year at the suggestion of hitting coach Don Long. Craig Monroe also has the 'high' generic stance like Wilson, but doesn't actually have his hands high at all. It looks more like what I remember Ankiel's stance looking like in 2K8. And Nyjer Morgan is one guy who could probably stay as generic medium, unless they added a new stance -- his real stance is a medium-ish crouch with a little bat waggle much like the generic one, but he holds his hands a little lower, more at chest level than at the shoulder.

Cole Hamels and Ryan Madson have two of the best Change-ups in baseball.

However, both of them have change-up ratings of 79 (Hamels) & 68 (Madson).

Their change-up ratings should be in the high 80s/low 90s to properly reflect how dominant of a pitch it is for them.

In addition, I think Hamels' change is a straight change, and not a circle change. I didn't even know Hamels had a slider that he threw...I thought his repertoire was FB, 12/6 Curve, Change up.

His slider is rated higher than his change-up too, and if it is a pitch in his repertoire, it's not one he uses often.

Fausto Carmona doesn't have a sinker. He throws that pitch like 70% of the time.

How do we know that they are listening?

If only they had a user that could talk to us about the games weaknesses to get our feedback like every other sports gaming company. I truly believe that is the key to success.

Because they posted on 2k forums that some guy was paying attention to suggestions for the living rosters. I assume the OP plans on transfering the things from here there.

What!? They fixed the Rangers alternates to have red undershirts in the update? Will this work with old rosters too, because I already started my franchise.

I also gave him my own master list (thats how the rangers uni got fixed...yall are welcome!) of stances that are spot on and I think if it gets implemented then we are gonna have some fun with this game after all!

Make sure they get Derek Holland in there ASAP! Haven't checked in game, but his fastball was sitting in the 92-93 range and he got it up to 95-96 a couple of times.
