Anyone STILL playing 2k9?

If so, What do you think of the game play?
I am one who likes to set the teams up and either manage a team or just watch CPU vs CPU...
After the patch There are now walks it seems..
I did try to sim a season but it froze up on me..
oh, and where can I find out what each slider means?

Same man, I think i played 2 full games and a couple minor league games and i put it in my drawer and have yet to get it back out.

i popped it in a week ago to see a CPU vs CPU match and the games was 0-0 through 18 innings, both teams combined 6 hits
I called BS and laid it under my bed...Ima sleep on it

I still play it. With some adjustments it's a fun game to play, especially since the season is over.

I got through about 25 games in my franchise.
NBA 2K10 came out and haven't looked back. It was too frustrating to play and even though I'm a 360 owner with no baseball alternatives, I'm still not gonna shell out $60 this year until reading the reviews. I'd rather go a year without baseball.

I play it on the PC. Took a litle while to get used to the fielding but it looks 2xs better on PC than 360. No online on PC though.

I just bought this game recently, is it any good and improved? I know I'm late, but i didnt want to pay full price lol. For $6.99 used i took a chance. A couple yrs ago i was blown away by the graphics, details and presentation of 2k7 that I had hopes they finally were showing progress on a baseball game to match what mvp 2005 did. Yet i'm not sure why the gameplay aspect has lagged or failed to improve since. I ordered 2k9 have yet to play it, but some of the reviews dont sound too optimistic. So what were some people's dislikes or gripes with the game. I keep hearing mlb 09 was better, unfortunately i dont have a ps3 only a 360. If only xbox finally made mvp 2005 backwards compatible, but that would mess up the sales of any future mlb 2k game which is unlikely for them.Considering the nba2k series has been great for awhile now, maybe the same developers could work on the mlb series to improve it somehow
