Is this patch coming out on release day as well?

They never said when the patch would come out.....

I am definitely glad its getting patched in. I am just shocked that they originally designed a hitting mechanic without it.

I totally agree with you.

The insight never said when the patch comes out, are they waiting for more bugs to be found be4 they send the check swing patch out.

The fact that this game, a little under a month away from retail release, already needs a patch scares the hell out of me. If there is a two patch before fees kick in minimum, a first day patch to fix something overlooked in development seems to be a waste.

He writes in the Insight that check swings are looking/feeling good, so I imagine they've been at work on the patch for a little while now. Makes me think it will be ready at or shortly after release.

Normally I'd agree, but in this case, it sounds like they made a decision to omit the check swing from the game, which was a bone-head decision. Once they heard how much backlash they received because of this, they realized they had to add it.

So it sounds more to me like they changed their minds than they just messed up, if that makes sense.

I thought that was for first-party developers only? Maybe it's that they're strictly limited to two patches.
