Blank silhouettes for random players?
I know this picture is for the My Player mode but, does anyone know if the random players will be like this. I know the other game has done this for a couple of years but, usually they give us a blank silhouette with no face, no hat or anything.
It would be a nice addition to franchise modes and CAPs.Moderator

Re: Blank silhouettes for random players?
I'm quite interested to know this as well. I don't have NBA 2k10 but I think I read somewhere that the franchise pictures were silhouettes. Hope they changed that for this title.I know this picture is for the My Player mode but, does anyone know if the random players will be like this. Re: Blank silhouettes for random players?
Maybe a dumb question, but will we ever have the option of directly uploading photos from our PC's to our consoles? That would be pretty damn cool. I doubt we ever get that kind of flexibility with it, though.
I'd love not having the wrong hats on players... I always wondered why baseball games have players in their wrong hats. For instance, in the gameplay video, Marlon Byrd was wearing a Rangers hat even though he's on the Cubs... I know he played for the Rangers last year, but MLB.com and ESPN.com has had him in an updated hat for a while now. I just wonder why the games don't have more updated photos when they have the tools (MLB License) to get everyone in the right hat. To me, it really helps with the presentation.
I could be in the minority on that as I know in the past, others have told me that I'm being way too nitpicky with the hat thing... But it's just my opinion and I do wonder why they can't get newer photos.Comment

i was thinking about that the other day. i believe it could be very possible, especially if we can put our faces on the game and have a player face be made from the pictures ( fight night round 4)Comment

Re: Blank silhouettes for random players?
MLB2K9 had blank silhouettes for newly created rookies.
NBA2K10 currently uses blank silhouettes.
I hope as well we can get a digital face. If Madden can do this, 2K should be doing this...

Re: Blank silhouettes for random players?
It would seem to me that with the integration and implementation of MLB Today into the game this year, there would be a way for them to upload player photos right off the MLB team websites. That way, we'd at least have the most current player photos available, as far as the MLB is concerned anyway.Maybe a dumb question, but will we ever have the option of directly uploading photos from our PC's to our consoles? Re: Blank silhouettes for random players?
Yeah, that would make sense, but it's highly unlikely. NBA 2K10 has the NBA Today and there are still blank silhouettes all over the place. I wish it wasn't like that.It would seem to me that with the integration and implementation of MLB Today into the game this year, there would be a way for them to upload player photos right off the MLB team websites.
