Re: Official MLB 2K10 Impressions (360/PS3)

Can someone who has the game try out Classic hitting for a few games and then R-stick hitting for a few games? I'm curious if like the demo, there's greater hit variety when using Classic hitting?

Joe, glad you are getting to play finally. So you are saying that the CPU is more aggressive at the plate than in the demo? Are they swinging at every strike? Even if it is a 3-0 count? Has the CPU drawn any walks yet?

Joe, how do the graphics compare to the demo graphics and our the animations solid? Also was the strong arms in the game last year? I know they were in the passed.

Someone mentioned the rocket arms are in the retail version. How is the speed of the base runners? Has anyone been successful going from first to third on a base hit? Does the AI attempt to go 1st to 3rd?

Another thing I thought of if one of you with the game can touch on it.

Are you seeing any extra base hits? I haven't had time to play the demo yet, but from what I understand they were kind of lacking which is strange because last year it was the opposite.

I too would like to know more about the franchise off season and non gameplay stuff like ticket prices, is anything like that in the game?

IMO Graphics look a little better. The jaggies are still there

As for the arms, yes they are over-done. I have the Throw Meter @ 0 & there still slinging darts all over the field..

Also I brought Dave Robertson in the game & Alec Baldwin showed-up...

I think the throw meter slider just adjusts how accurate your throws will be based on the meter. I think the power of the throw is all ratings based and something that needs fixed in a roster update. You could try editing a couple of your players throw ratings and see if it helps, just as a test.
