I have to believe it is not patched in yet. you should be able to pull back on the RS while swinging and get the check swing animation. But it's just not there.

This has really affected my ability to hit, as last year I could start a swing and then stop when I decided it was a ball or not what I wanted. I find myself pulling back to no avail this year.

The little stuff that prevents me from making strategic moves is starting to bug me. You can't leave a pinch hitter in the game. You can't view the other team's bench or bullpen, nor any of their L/R/S status.

I had a really bad AI decision in game today, when the Mets pulled Johan Santana from the game after seven inning, holding a 2-0 lead. He was throwing a perfect game against me, and had minimal pitches in.

Click the left thumb stick down when you are on the major league roster. Clicking the left thumbstick will cycle through your minor league teams. Then just press A(or X on ps3) on the players you want to bring up and choose "send to MLB".

I do like the collision detection in the field and the double play animations including breaking them up.

Much smoother gameplay compared to 09

How do you turn off what the CPU is throwing?

I could not find in menus. Don't like to know
what pitch is coming as I'm about to swing

It's tied to the strike zone. If you turn the strike zone off that will go away. I'm not sure where that option is to turn it off otherwise.
