Press start and look all the way at the bottom of the screen. either the left side or the right, and it's under "Energy".

Re: Official MLB 2K10 Impressions (360/PS3)

I own the PS3 version and to my eyes it looks different than the vids I saw from before release.
The gameplay vids made really want this game but it looks awful on my PS3. Looks like a Ps2 game.
Is the xbox version any different?
anyone know?
Or are the 2 games equally the same (graphically)

Re: Official MLB 2K10 Impressions (360/PS3)

I have to say, I'm enjoying this game. I'm very impressed, though I realize this is what we should've gotten years ago. The original 2K baseball games, particularly the 2K3, were the best around at the time IMO. But that was Sega. And now, after years of frustration, 2K has finally brought the franchise back to its good days. The presentation is well done, really next gen. The graphics are solid, with some beautiful ballparks and lighting, though many player models could be better. The physics - the hit variety and the way the ball moves, etc., are excellent. The hitting and pitching both rival any prior baseball simulation video game. I haven't messed with the sliders, but I hope they work as I get better. Fielding is uninspired, and the animations on the field not as smooth or varied as MLB10. What makes fielding a definite weak point is the lack if errors, players play perfect defense unless you really mess up. The AI is the other important part for me, and so far its been decent. I did play a game early in my franchise where the Phillies brought Jamie Moyer on to close, and the stats showed he already had a couple of saves. If they could fine-tune a couple of gameplay and AI issues, fix the presentation glitches (Player of the Game is a joke), add check swing, and most importantly, add more errors and make throwing less precise in the process, this game will be the Xbox 360's answer to The Show.

It looks like the DH fatigue is broken. DH's fatigue the same as the position players which is wrong. A DH should not be getting tired. It's almost a day off.

How the heck do you hit home runs? I have about 2 is 20 plus games. I like how tough the game is this year compared to 2k9 when would have 4 to 5 guys with 30 plus HR's but man I am struggling this year even with the power hitters. Does aiming the stick up help?
