A couple of question before I buy

I played the demo, which was the first time I tried a BB game on the 360. I could not get the hang of pitching for the life of me.
my questions:
1) Does the full game give you the ability to go back to the older controls that use a pitch meter instead of the analog sticks ?
20 Are the all Great Cooperstown Rosters still part of the game ? (ie Bench, Cobb, Ruth, Schmidt etc..)
I have not played 2k baseball since 2k5, so If anyone can answer these for me it would be appreciated.
