Has anyone done a my player as a contact & basestealer type of player? I was just curious if my player will allow you to hit leadoff if your a leadoff type hitter. In my other my player I am a slugger and moved into the 3rd spot on the dodgers in the 2nd season so i wanted to try something different.

you can change your spot in the lineup just go to
my player>career decisions>lineup change

I haven't gotten to where I can select my lineup spot, but I hit 5th against righties and leadoff against lefties in my second season in the majors. I have ratings around 85 contact and 80 power with 85 speed and 80 acceleration. I have the sliders for base running speed turned up a bit, but I can still only steal against pitchers with slow deliveries. After the first month, I have 9 steals so far and was thrown out once.Comment

I don't know how anyone steals in this game. I always get picked off I can never guess right. FUASFHIASN, it's so frustrating.

Ya i hit second 4 the red sox and i got like 50 steals in my third season on all-star

Three step lead.
Only steal against pitchers with hitches or pauses in their deliveries. You'll need to up the Human runner speed. It's a necessary evil if you want to steal bags.
Also, until you get your player to 82-85 speed, I wouldn't even think about trying to steal.Comment
