the game freeze when i am pitching to a batter some times the batter is just standing there what is the work around for this

ran into this too, it seems to be a problem post-patch but no biggie. Press start and go to Defensive Subs: and just sub the 1st baseman with the 2nd baseman and then sub them back. Works like a charm

Actually all that I do is press down on the d pad then close the menu. It always works for me. It happened pre patch to.

Never, ever happened to me pre-patch. I played a full season (every 5th day) in my Franchise mode, including the playoffs and World Series.

It only happened pre patch for me so far. I played 120 games that season. I am not saying it does not happen post parch but the game seems to act different from person to person.

I've only seen this post-patch and I've seen it three times now. Twice I've used that method to get around it but once I had to save and restart from that point. Maybe I'll try the defensive sub thing next time.
