    Player Progression

I've searched this forum but can't seem to find why players overall rating changes but not their attributes in franchise mode. Does anyone know why? Recently i saw josh beckett drop to a 79 ovr but his pitches still had the same ratings. Whats up with that. could really use some help. thanks

It's because the tendencies sliders affect the ovr. rating for some reason. And pitchers have a glitch where their walk tendency skyrockets, causing a drop in ovr. rating. Causes a ton of walks.

The hitters have the same sort of issue with the stealing tendency. It actually raises the player's ovr. This results in everybody stealing at least 25 bases.

Progression is flat out broken, and 2k was made aware of this before the patch. Neither issue was fixed, and they actually said they fixed the steal rating.

Is there anything that can be done with sliders to help this out a little bit. It's frustrating to get to year 2 and have your top pitchers have such sharp declines

Sadly in My Player there is nothing you can do.
But in franchise mode you can always goes back and EDIT your player back to his orginal rating.Yea it sucks that you have to do that every year but its all their is.
