CPU Pitcher Stamina is Crap

I play both MLB 2k10 and The Show on my ps3 ( as i personally enjoy both titles ) but the one thing i really dislike about 2k10 is the fact that in my franchise i never see the CPU starter goes past the 5th inning, and i mean the opposing teams' ace, they never goes past the 5th inning.
I really don't want to edit all the starters in this game but will if i have to or if anyone has any ideas to rectify this problem.

Wow I have the exact opposite problem. I am not playing with the patch as I dont have xbox live access right now which could be my problem. I work the counts, draw walks, get hits, and yet the CPU pitcher rarely comes out. It was me as the tigers after a fantasy draft vs the royals who were pitching Chris Carpenter; I dropped five runs on him and a total of 5 walks all before the 6th inning. Not until the 9th inning did they sub him out when he gave up a solo shot with 1 out.

Maybe I just need the patch

I'm playing without the patch as well and my opponets never pull their starter either.

I have AI pitching fatigue slider at 40....unless I get to the CPU pitcher, he will stay in 6 or 7 innings.

Yeah, i hear both of you guys cause pre patch the CPU does not take out the starter and it's one of the issues they " corrected ", so the CPU starter could be taken out. But the problem is they take them out too damn early ( as in the 5th inning ).

It's funny though cause i just played a game with the CPU Stamina at 45 and they had Mat Latos going for them and he went 7 plus innings, giving up 1 run and 6 hits in the process. So maybe there is some hope, maybe.

great job on your sliders, by the way. I'm not being disrespectful but i tried the CPU Stamina at 40 and, for some reason, i was having the same result as the CPU was taking their starter out early.

Sure you're not shelling the pitcher...this will cause the manager to pull him early.

I am pretty sure i wasn't but perhaps i will try it again and see what happens.

I put it at 35 and pitchers are going deep unless I'm getting to ther.
