No it's dell Inspiron 580S..a slim case...so my card choices are limited since it would have to be low profile...I am using it for a HTPC...decent machine for what i am using it for i think....

But yeah the ASUS card isn't integrated....i added it...but i agree...crap

You still don't think it can be video card dependent...another user said that windows was resetting my video card driver during the game causing the problem.

There are ways of tweaking the performance specs of your graphics card. It could be worth your while to spend some time trying different setups to see if that fixes the issue. My laptop has an Nvidia control panel that allows me quickly adjust my card. Maybe you have something similar.

I have an NVIDIA GeForce GT445M, laptop version. I've never had to adjust the card, but I did have to adjust the default 2K11 settings after I installed the game. It kept crashing during the first inning of every game I played. I can check to see what my settings are right now.

Re: Video Card Advice...

Basic settings
VSync is on (thought I shut that off actually)

Advanced settings
MSAA is 2X
Anisotropic filter, Particle Effects and Depth Of Field are all off.

The rest of the settings are individual graphics quality settings, so I doubt that matters with your issue, but you never know. Something else to check: I've had an issue with at least one other game that didn't play correctly on my external monitor until the game's resolution settings were set to those of my laptop, which is 1600 x 900. That's one of the settings I changed when I set about to fix the issue I was having with 2K11 crashing. I lowered the game's graphics settings to 1600 x 900. I don't know if that helped or if it had zip to do with anything. All I can tell you is 2K11 now runs fine and I've never had an issue since.
