With PSN being down, is it still possible to patch 2k11? Or would I have to wait until PSN is back running.

Obviously, the hope would be that it never comes to that. However, as long as 2k uses the standard way of patching PS3 games, yes, you'd be able to get it even if PSN is still down by that time. I've downloaded patches for 3 games since the network went down without any problems.

You may want to check. I don't have 2k11 but I have received patches for TheShow and Castlevannia during the PSN outage. So I think if they have released a patch you will be able to get it.
