Playing Online can be Fustrating

I mean we always encounter these folks in online gaming, and I actually stopped playing ranked games for a long time because of it. But I decided to play some and actually got a few good ones. But yesterday I ran into a game.

The guy had the Rangers and I played with the Red Sox. In 3 innings he was beating me 4-0 and was pitching a no hitter with CJ Wilson. I finally managed to get ONE hit..and he changed pitchers and put in Neftali Felix. I couldnt understand the move...and just knew what I was in for. Every inning after that he would drag bunt, steal, and initate run downs. So to counter I threw pitchouts and kept things off the plate. In the 7th inning I put up 7 runs after seeing all the cheap tatics he used. after he used about 5 more pitchers including starters he quit.

Exactly why I refuse to play sports games online....i'll deal with the computer ai....

I was wondering about that...I've never played online against anyone but friends and see how it goes in just about every other game with cheaters or "gamers" that use a glitch to their advantage...I'll stick with Franchise mode...

Yeah, unless you're playing with friends, it's just not worth it.

This is why I hardly ever play online. I can't stand the lag, first and foremost. The way people play (cheesy is the only word that comes to mind), is also irritating. I have had good games though, and this is one that sticks out.

and people need to realize that post patch....throwing balls is a must online. People still mad because I dont throw strikes only. I tell them everytime that it is very easy to follow the pitch now..and even easier to make contact. Why would I give you easy runs and hits...so you can just know the swing at every pitch.

I see these guys loading up..with every hitter before I even pick my pitch..and expect me to throw to them like its a home run derby. That would make pitches with movements useless.

I like to throw you a ball inside, just to catch you looking the next pitch with a slider starting inside off the plate and moving into the zone.

I think you can tell the difference between folks who play franchise mode vs online only.
