MLB2k12 must have legends

Does anyone think there should be legends in mlb2k12, Babe Ruth, Ted Williams, Jackie Robinson etc. Just like NBA2k11 and NBA2k12 had legends MLB2k12 should have legends to, what do you think?

Yup. Not in the same way as the NBA game though. I would love a similar mode in MLB to play classic matchups with related presentation...I would play the crap out of it (the possibilities on PC, in particular, are awesome!).

That said, I think 2K has bigger fish to fry with their baseball franchise before expanding a legends roster. There are still long-term, lingering animation issues, AI problems and gameplay inconsistencies that need addressed. Plus, I think franchise and My Player need to keep seeing refinement and upgrades as well.

As much of a neat idea as this is...MLB2k12 needs to focus ONLY on stadium accuracy, players faces/bodies/and some real equipment (baggy pants...seriously), team uniforms, GRAPHICS and add as many animations/gameplay to the game as possible while fixing the ghastly bugs that make the community rage. (check swing, and DL bug...seriously) No new features for the love of GOD...especially when the ones LAST YEAR never worked.

Baseball has a lot of potential for legends. It'd be cool to be able to play as like Cy Young or Ty Cobb or Babe Ruth.

Yes, they should make the current game better and after that, focus in legends. There's some issues before this to get done

I think that the OP didn't even notice the two Legends teams is proof this should be their absolute lowest priority. I think one thing that makes it tougher than basketball is the art is going to take more time. You probably want old-timey stadiums which are harder to make than the basketball arenas (different dimensions for the walls for one thing). You probably want old-timey gloves and accessories. Seems like a lot of work to do right while the regular players only have one type of batting glove and hi/low top shoe options. Never mind trying to make Legends specific game modes to take advantage of it once you make them look good.
