Any word on check swing issues?

Just wondering if there is any scuttlebutt regarding the check swing in the "classic" mode? I know you can do it in the demo with a terrible double tap that is nigh impossible to pull off. Any chance the full version will use the more intuitive press sensor? Thanks in advance.

It's been double-tap for years. This year it finally works (not always a swinging strike) as per my demo impressions. So to answer your question, yes double-tap is it for classic.

Its still terribly implemented. I have another worry. Ejections. Lack of ejections is cringeworthy in a baseball game. Same thing with rain and rain delays. Not having these in a baseball game in 2012 is inexcusable.

Pitchers can be ejected this year.

About time. Not sure why they went backwards with this feature. Same with arguing calls to start a rally.

Explain how this double tap works, i've tried many times just to see if i can check and so far no luck so i'm doing something wrong.

So you hit "A" to swing, and before the ball reaches the plate you just tap "A" again and the batter will hold up.

Yes.

On analog swing stick, you must pull back quickly when you realize you want to hold up.
