MLB 2K12 Custom Stadium Songs

I know someone was kind enough to refer me to The Show forum for some mp3 files, but not only are they a bit bare, they vary differently than points of the game needed to customize MLB 2K12.

Has anyone utilized this area of the game as much as NBA 2K12 and NHL 12?

I don't see any threads in either forum with the kind of juice those games had...and I'm shocked there isn't a forum for Stadium Sounds on its own.

Edit: So, yea, I just failed big time. None of the links work. So, use the search function up top on the right of the forum and search sounds, then you'll see a thread by me and a user with jack in is name, those are the two threads I tried, but failed, to link.

Your best bet is to go on youtube and get them thats what i did plus they are real stadium sounds and music.i will send you some links

Thanks guys...I guess people hate 2K that bad, huh

I played 5 innings today and it was enjoyable. The graphics aren't that great, but the commentary was awesome and the presentation was fair. It'll be cool to add all the FOX, NESN, YES, ESPN themes and diff themes.

I just wish there was an ultimate sound pack like they had with the games I mentioned..

Oh, another thing....it would've been nice to see a chart like which team should be on FOX, FSN, TBS, ESPN...I know FOX, TBS and ESPN are national games, but if there's no local theme, I'd like to know who most likely would be on which network...they did that for 2K

anybody know if the custom sounds work in franchise? I added some but they only work in the play now games. I haven't restarted my franchise to test if you need to restart, but I don't really wanna restart.

Custom sounds work in franchise only if you have it set before you start your franchise. Unfortunately they do not have the option like NBA had to update your custom music from within your franchise.

use the following gverb (reverb) settings in audacity to make the tracks sound like they are coming from the stadium PA system. gverb is listed under the effects menu.

in mp3gain adjust the decibel (volume) level of the track. you will be able to hear the tracks better in the game. i personally use 98 but it's your choice of what you want to adjust it to. values of 95-98 seem to work well with sounds on the xbox 360. there also should be an option under presentation in the game to adjust the volume of custom stadium sounds.


i believe each event(intro, at bat over, walk, homerun, etc) has a "set" time limit. meaning if you were to put a song that is over a minute long into the player sound slot it would still only play the first 10 - 15 seconds of the song. a shorter version of the songs wouldn't be necessary. unless there was a certain part of the song you wanted to hear. when using the audacity program you can pick where you want the track to begin.

I was so disappointed to find that they don't have a 7th inning stretch song, where else can I play Sweet Caroline at Fenway!!
