Fielding Attributes?

If you play a player, like Jesus Montero, at 1B, will his attribute for 1B go up during player progression in the offseason?

I don't know but if it doesn't work you could always go to Edit Player and then every month or something add 10 more points. Or every game he plays there add 1 more point. That's kind of realistic I guess.

I simulated a season bit by bit to secure that I get what I want.
I put in Ryan Theriot a whole season into left field where he had a fielding ability of 25.
After the season he still had 25...
