What team should I use with the updated roster from Mkharsh and crew?
I want a challenge.

If you're hoping to complete more than 2 games in your franchise this year, then choose a decent team that will hold your interest, would be my advice. A challenge is fine, but if you're getting whupped all the time you're bound to give up after a short time.

I wanted a challenge too, and believe it or not, I picked the Marlins. I downloaded a roster update from Mkharsh a while ago, back when Bourn and Lohse were both still free agents. I signed both of them to make the team a better, made a couple trades to make minor improvements and save a little bit of cap space for future free agents, and then simmed the entire first season and let all of the young prospects develop some more. Now, going into the second season, the team is still slightly below average, but they at least hold my interest.

The Orioles are a good team that isn't super overblown good like the Angels...don't play with HOU on any kind of high difficulty you'll break your tv lol. The Rockies are kinda just meh to me I put them right there with the Padres in terms of teams I don't care about in the slightest.

I second this big time! People, myself, always think building a small market team with little talent would be a big challenge. I find it is easier to get a mechanical engineering degree than to stomach losing video game baseball.

Whichever one will inspire you to continue your franchise beyond the 2nd game of season 1. So for you, any team besides the Rays. Speaking of challenges, what about the Yankees? The game will retire most of your lineup once the 1st season is finished and all you'll be left with is Brett Gardner and Eduardo Nunez.

The Mariners have averaged 94 losses the last three seasons.
