Will there be a MLB 2k14?

I agree. I love the 2k style of gameplay and presentation.
I really wonder if MLB will convince 2K to produce another ball game.

Unfortunately....there will be no baseball game released on XBox or PC this year.
(other than Mogul or OOTP and the ilk...)

I don't think Microsoft will allow the Xbox to go without a MLB game, because they know by doing so will drive gamers to the PS4. If 2K doesn't produce an MLB game, then I can see Microsoft do what Sony did. They could possibly produce their own MLB games. I haven't purchase a Xbox One or Playstation 4, because right now the MLB is being the deciding factor for me. I have been with the Xbox 360 when MLB 2K7 was released.

MLB cares more about not having a game on the Xbox than Microsoft does.
If baseball games sold 10's of millions of games, then MS might care.
But when you look at total games sold, NHL games actually sell more than baseball games.

It's sad, but I doubt we see any other ball game than The Show for 2014.
I hope I'm wrong though. I'd love to see 2K14 on at least current-gen systems.

I have to admit that I have this slight bit of hope we get a surprise release like 2K13. It would be even more awesome if they just ported 2K13 to the One with a new set of rosters.

But in reality, I don't think there will be an Xbox baseball game this year. I do believe that we will get one the following year from somebody.
