Global Edit For Anticipation/Acceleration?
Looking to implement Shogun's edits to a couple of the games. Do I have to go through each player or is there a global editor available to change these attributes?Tags: None -
Re: Global Edit For Anticipation/Acceleration?
MK inputs everything manually and they are included in his roster sets. I'd recommend downloading those rosters to give it a go. Really plays night and day with the edit.
If you are working on your own roster you "could" use the Reditor BUT from what MK says it causes glitches in the rosters. I've used it and haven't noticed much in my franchise.
But the Kennedy and Ichiro glitch are caused from the Reditor. If you choose that path, make a backup copy of your roster and then globally edit (you need a paid license to global edit on Reditor). -
Re: Global Edit For Anticipation/Acceleration?
Thanks guy. I have his rosters for my 360 version of 12 I was wondering if there was anything I could do on my PS3 version of 11 without doing each player manually. I guess I will just have to do each team before exhibition games and save etc. etc. Thanks.Comment

I would guess yes. However, you'll then need to make sure your slider tweaks will make the game play well. I've always felt the game played in hyper-drive - these global edits were a major find for this game.STEELERS INDIANS CELTICS

Re: Global Edit For Anticipation/Acceleration?
So I am sitting here waiting for the damn Comcast guy to come professionally screw a coax onto a box, plug in an hdmi and put the power cord in the wall, clearly I am not capable of such a feat but the x1 platform doesn't allow picking up a box at a local office..........
Anyway, I was just looking at the old develop diaries for 2k11. I am curious as to what else we can get out of 2k12, it's the same engine so I assume the attributes and defense are the same as 11. I'm gonna do some testing later on but this line from the developer diary has me curious and intrigued.
"Restricting animations by ratings and weight – We wanted to continue to add to our realism and get rid of as many “that player wouldn’t do that in real life” moments as we could. We did a couple of very interesting things to limit that in the field this year. The first thing we did is limit animations to different ratings, so certain animations won’t trigger unless your glove rating is greater than 90, etc. We also limited animations by height and weight so that, even if a player has a good glove or arm rating, you won’t see bigger players make amazingly athletic plays."Comment
