Well, we didn't give up any of our 4 outfielders. Can't say I'm disappointed, I like watching all 4 of them play. It was a tough decision, and I think it could be the correct one.

But we'll have to see what happens this fall/winter with the Adam Dunn arbitration thing.

They didn't make ANY moves this weekend. Not even with Aurilia. I don't get it.

In regards to that, I found this quote from rotoworld.com hilarious:

''If I had to handicap it, I'd say we're probably not going to do anymore (trades),'' general manager Dan O'Brien said. At this point O'Brien is like the guys playing music while the Titanic sank.

Thanks for beating up on the Padres and showing their management to stop being delusional about being in first place and that they don't have to do anything.

Why would we make a trade? That would make no sense, it would make us better!!!

I know. Jayson Stark's column about "putting the Dead in Deadline Day" was pretty good. It's sad when your team's GM is used in the same sentence as Chuck LaMar of the D-Rays and numerous execs from other teams could not figure out what the hell the Reds were doing. Newsflash...they couldn't figure out what they were doing because the Reds themselves had no idea what they were doing.

Agree. I guess on the flipside, at least we have 19 million more than the rays.

Well, new ownership has taken command. Any thoughts? I'm excited about this trio.
