Ha, EVERY signing and trade the Yanks have made this year are 100 percent flat-out comical. I guess the days where 200 million doesnt leave you grasping at straws are done with.

Almost every one, except the Chacon deal. I really really like this kid. Considering he plays in Coors, and only had a 4.09 ERA this year, thats pretty damn good. Obviously his record is pathetic because of the lack of runs the Rockies are driving in this year. His away ERA this season is 3.12, despite being 0-5. We'll find out just how good this kid is in a little more than an hour.

However, bringing up Franklin and signing Embree....two of the worst moves this team could've made. I would love to think Embree can get on track and help this team but I just can't see it.

Look at Chacon's 7 Losses this season....

5 IP, 2 ER
6.2 IP, 2 ER
8 IP, 3 ER
4 IP, 2 ER
6 IP, 6 ER
7 IP, 2 ER
7 IP, 3 ER

Outside of that one 6 ER game, he's pitched really great. If he only had an offense, he could've been 6-2 or better. Now that he has the offense of the Yankees behind him, he can hopefully start piling up the wins.

Great game by Chacon, just what I was expecting out of him.

Of course, I wouldn't be surprised if the relief pitching gives him another no decision.
