BIG Rbi but Matsui.... makes it 4-0 in the 7th and Gibbons gets tossed for arguing the close play at home.

Seriously... is there anything more entertaining than a manager-umpire confrontation?? I love every minute of it.

6-0 on Escalona's first hit of the year. Everythings clicking tonight... and if we can play like this for the majority of the games down the stretch... we have a great chance at the playoffs.

Wright has looked fabulous in his first 2 starts back from the DL. If him.. Chacon... and Mussina can keep pitching like they have... they can carry us to the playoffs with maybe some help from RJ if he picks it up.

Agreed, but you aren't going to be playing the Blue Jays and Scott Downs-yndrom every night, lol.

hopefully they put small back in the rotation, and he pitches good

He's already the slowest man in the majors, he doesn't need to add "dumbest" to his repetoire.

Oh well, tie game going to the 8th at home, I'll take it. The way we've been hitting in the clutch lately I'm amazed Georgie didn't ground into a DP right there.

Ugh, so much for our bullpen being overworked as the excuse for them imploding. Sturtz has been well rested since last Wednesday and now comes in and gives up run.
