Well, Torre's end-of-the-season press conference is at 3 PM EST. I can't wait to watch this. I'm definatley interested to see what his outlook on the future is.

Mel Stottlymere just announced he isn't coming back. Apparently Torre isn't scheduled to speak today. Cashman is also expected to speak, but not on his contract situation and his future until November 1st.

Mel sounds very sad/biter about this. This may be the start a real ugly off season.

I really like Mel as a coach.. some of his interview was interesting - especially about a person shouldnt have to respond to "two groups of people, only one", referring to the Tampa "brainiacs"..

LOL, apparently it's "Let's Make A-Rod Feel Better About Himself Day" on YES.

All the classic moments in between Mike & The Mad Dog are A-Rod moments, his 3-homer game against the Angels this year (how ironic) and his 2-run homer off Schilling when he came outta the pen in Fenway in July.

Great job programming by the YES Network.
