Of all the rumors I've heard about Matsui, it's 99.9% sure he's staying in the Bronx. He's definately a keeper IMO, just had a terrible ALDS.

That's good news but we need to get small resigned too wasn't his contract only 1 yr?

If he wants more than that he needs to go somewhere else! He is a solid hitter but his fielding is something to be desired. I know he makes some good plays once in a while but overall so so.

I found this pretty funny this morning........

I was reading the New Have Register and on the front page there's an article on the state's powerball since it's up to $290 million. And the large quote next to the article from a guy in Milford is, "If I won this thing ya know what I'd do? I'd buy half the Yankees just so I could get rid of George Steinbrenner."

LOL, Yankee fans are really heated at the front office right now.
