I'm happy for him to stink up the joint. Hey Kevin don't you wish you would have stayed in South Beach?

If the Yanks had a healthy rotation Brown would be released today. I'm still shocked they didn't find a way to dump him in the off-season after he broke his hand and never gave his team a chance in game 7 of the ALCS.

I'd pay him double his salary just to get the hell of the field and open a roster spot. And every time he gives up a run he has that look on his face that says "Well it was a good pitch they just hit it."

He throws sinkers that dont sink and fastballs right over the plate. If he gives up 6 first inning runs to the D-Rays how can he succeed against any other team.

Get off our field nutjob.
From what I have seen of him this year, it isn't the movement that is the problem. His location sucks though. His sinkers are sinking they are just up, and that is a HUGE mistake that will get punished. He needs to hang 'em up.

Wang sucks Wang

I never thought I'd see the day the Yanks would lose 3 of 4 to the Devil Rays.

Actually, I'm still not even panicking. We still have over 130 games to play.

Re: Official New York Yankees Bleacher Creatures Team Thread

Never thought I'd see the Yankees in last place.

This was the first time TB has won a series against them since Piniella took over. I believe they were 0-10-4 going into the series.

I guess the whole "shaking up the lineup" plan didn't work. I don't see why people don't understand this. On ESPN they've been talking about adding youth, saying they should've gone after Beltran instead of RJ, etc. The problem is the pitching. They let up 11 runs in back to back games to the Devil Rays!! If they didn't have RJ they'd be completely screwed. I'm sorry Yankee fans, but it's time to panic. You're lineup can win some games for you but that just doesn't work in the AL east. Without a solid pitching staff it's impossible to compete in this division over the course of a full season.
