The chance of getting him is slim. The chance of getting him for cheap is zero.

WEEI is reporting that Mark Bellhorn was placed on the 15-day DL with Youkilis being recalled from Pawtucket.

It's looks like the forces of nature are doing the things the Sox can't figure out to do for them.

He still won't be getting any ABs if Mueller continues at third because of his knees, and I don't know how Youk would fair at second. He doesn't look real nimble....

Has Mueller ever/can Mueller play second?

I think he meant as far as taking Bellhorn out of the lineup. Cora will be our 2B, which really isn't an upgrade over Bellhorn. Anybody know what the deal with Mueller is? Terry made it sound like he basically is refusing to play 2B, which seems out of character for Billy. Moving Mueller to 2B and Youkilis to 3B would make the most sense, especially since they're facing 3 lefties vs TB.

A lot of people are calling for Hanley or Pedroia right now, but I think the Red Sox are making the right move by not calling either of them up. Hanley is clearly not ready and Pedroia has struggled in Pawtucket while battling a wrist injury.

He's played 2nd before, but he's pretty awful there. Not as in he makes a whole bunch of errors, more like he can't get to many groundballs.

Mueller's a great 3rd baseman defensively. Does Youk have any experience at 2nd? Cora dug himself in a hole in my eyes afetr that double-play.
