Re: Official Boston Red Sox 2005 Thread

The Sox are in his head, right now Rivera can't beat the Sox. Nice to see Renteria come up big after struggling the first two games and first two at bats in this game.

Wakefield was also great today. Big Wake the Yankee killer. He deserved a win. The Red Sox hit into too many double plays and that walk - throw 'em out play was pretty sloppy and killed a potential rally.

Nice win for the red sox. The arod play could of changed the game around. Im not impressed with manny but one of my biggest surprises this season even though i know its early is Mark Belhorn.

Bellhorn is hitting 1.000 when he actually puts the ball in play.

Skipped school to watch the game and it was worth it. Great comeback victory.

Looks like Millar's knee is fine:

Kevin Millar thought there might have been something wrong with his knee after hobbling back to first following his single in the sixth inning. Though he left the game, Millar wound up being fine. "I had a cramp in my knee and it wouldn't go [away]," said Millar. "If I could have taken a 10-minute timeout, I would have been fine. I'm OK, everything is fine."

Anybody watch Schilling? I didn't but it looks like he got shelled. He allowed 7 earned runs and struck out 7.
