I am upset with that too, but a wek from now, afetr those 'trade rumors', it will all be gravy and we'll be saying how indespendable he is.

Man, i cant say enough about Damon. I love how Sox management doesnt give into players wanting big contracts, but there is a difference between wanting a big contract and deserving it, and Damon deserves it.

Crap, here comes tying run to plate. Let's go Schil.

Top 10th, didnt hustle out a double play ball but he and the other guy was safe cuz of some spotty officiating and defense.

98 games without an extra-innings affair, and suddenly we have back-to-back extra's....very strange.

No way, Lee doubles to come within one and tying run at 2nd. Pull it together Schilling!!

If we win this, it will be within the top 3 wins of the year, not counting Nixona nd Clement getting hurt.

If we lose, it will rival Schil's return against the Yanks as the worst loss. Probably worse than that because of the injuries.

How can you guys not be sick of the guy. I'd imagine he makes it as hard to root for him as Kevin Brown does for the Yanks.

What a coincidence... both are a-holes!

Well, Manny gives his team chances to win and is an integral part of the offense. Brown just sucks. Manny only does this ocne or twice a year anyways, so whatever.

AND WE WIN!!! WE WIN!!! Great play by Olerud. What a heart-pounding game. We need to take the next one and face Minniesota with some momentum. Now onto the SP trades thanks to Crawford's liner.

Looks like we'll be calling up Halama again, because we have no one other than J. Gonz and Schill who could go into the rotation while Matt's out.
