I don't think one has been made yet but...it's looking like a great season so far! Our pitching is looking pretty good except that big blown save against the Indians last week.

Revamped team...wouldnt be surprised if you guys took the AL Central. A lot of new faces should help you guys a lot.

Bout time somebody made a White Sox thread. The few games I've seen thus far, they've been looking good. Especially against Cleve and Minn since those are the teams we gotta keep a eye on this season. We should of swept the Twins but that Venezulan pitcher for Minny had out number.

The Sox have looked very good. The good pitching is very nice to see. Hopefully they can keep just taking at least 2 out of 3 in these series

They are looking promising. Podzilla should be out for a few days with a pulled groin. Hopefully Jose can pitch like he did last week, 2 great starts for him to start the year would be huge for his confidence.


We are set up pretty nicely. We have capable backups, and if one of our pitchers goes down...we have Brandon McCarthy waiting down in Double A.

Yea Graphik that's why I made one! Here at school everyone is a Cubs fan and they love to say how much the Sox suck. Oh well, at least I can goto a game whenever I want and not worry about them being sold out...

LOL, I use that same resoning for being a Sox fan. "At least I can go to a game whenever I wanted". HA...take that Cubs fans...who have to sit in 20 degree weather to get a bleacher seat for a game thats in the middle of August.

pitching has been awesome this year- hopefully they can actually finish the sweep tomorrow even though ill take 2 out of 3 against our division rivals

Yeah, the next step is for them to be able to finish off these series that they're winning 2 out of 3 in. Never the less I'm impressed with the team thus far

This team is not as exciting as the White Sox teams the past couple of years BUT they are better.

I disagree with that. What they are doing right now is WAY better than sitting back and waiting for the 3 run homer.

Watching Podsednik run and Iguchi hit is a hell of a good time, if you ask me.

Don't get me wrong. I like what I see in the White Sox but it's more exciting watching the 3-run homer than someone stealing a base. Ultimatley, I'd rather see more wins than anything else I don't care how you get it done! I think the Sox will provide that for us this year.

i agree with soltrain, id rather see base hit bunts, getting runners over, stealing bases, and "smart ball" than a bunch of solo homers because to win games you need to be able to do these things, not to mention the pitching is a lot better thus far
