Re: The 2006 New York Yankees

Octavio Dotel has been activated, and is ready to make his big league return.

Hopefully all goes well, another arm out there who could pitch the 7th or 8th will be a big help, and finally give Farnsworth and Proctor some rest.

I sure as hell hope not.

Down 3-1 in the 6th. Lets get to the pen boys and eat them alive.

Tied at 1. Both Roberts and Damon lead off the game with a homerun.

Re: The 2006 New York Yankees

Losing 2/3 to B-more isn't the way to go into a 5 game series with the Sox.

Anyway here's the pitching matchups:

Game 1: Wang vs. Johnson
Game 2: Ponson vs. Lester
Game 3: Randy vs. Beckett
Game 4: Moose vs. Schilling
Game 5: Lidle vs. Wells

Lidle is on the bereavement list but I guess would still make his start if not Wright could probably pitch on short rest after only pitching 3 innings and like 75 pitches today.

The matchups look pretty even other than Game 1. The double header should be a split and then the next 3 could really go either way.

One way or the other the series will be 3-2. Hopefully it's the Yanks w. the 3 wins though!

I think it'll go like this: W, L, L, W, W.

If we lose to Jason Johnson this afternoon....all holy hell will break loose.
