Nor do I. Bringing him in to relieve Ponson was questionable at best, bringing him back for another inning was just plain stupid. Villone has been the Yankees' best reliever this year not named Rivera, to make him throw 70+ pitches in two days...just wow. The Yankees should have made a roster move between games to get someone who could eat some innings tonight. Everyone knew Ponson wasn't going to give them much (though it could be argued that they should have stuck with him for 100 pitches no matter what).

This game isn't over until its over though.
